On Tuesday evening, Samay made his first public appearance since announcing his comeback tour. The comedian attended the screening of the web series Hai Junoon in Mumbai. At the event, Samay was seen engaging with fans, welcoming them, and taking selfies. Samay was wearing a casual jersey and headphones wrapped around his neck.

While he posed for the paps, the comedian was asked about bringing back his show, a photographer askd, 'Bhai woh show waapis kab la rahe ho' to which Samay reacted, 'Areeeyy'. He then laughed and ignored the question. Soon a friend of his borrowed him from the paps.

Samay was also asked about the series, to which he gave a witty reply leaving all in splits and a bit baffled. He said, “I haven’t watched the series. I had gone out for a workout in a gym. This is my friend, and I just came in with him. I have no idea what you are talking about”. Samay then left with his friend for the screening.
