Rajasthan PTET 2025: Registration deadline extended again to May 5, exam on June 15

The Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, has extended the Rajasthan PTET 2025 registration deadline to May 5, 2025. The exam will still take place on June 15, 2025. The PTET is held for admission into two-year BEd and four-year integrated BA BEd/BSc BEd programmes across Rajasthan. The exam pattern includes 200 MCQs across four sections, and the application fee ranges from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 depending on the programme.

VMOU extends PTET 2025 application deadline, no change in exam schedule
Rajasthan PTET 2025: The Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, has once again extended the deadline for registrations for the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2025. As per the latest update, candidates now have time until May 5, 2025, to submit their application forms.
The PTET 2025 exam date, however, remains unchanged and will be held on June 15, 2025, as originally scheduled. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can register online through the official website at ptetvmoukota2025.in.
Application window extended again
Originally, the registration deadline was set for April 7, 2025. It was later extended to April 17, 2025. This new extension offers aspiring candidates additional time to complete their applications for this state-level entrance exam. No modifications have been made to the exam pattern or schedule.
The Rajasthan PTET is conducted for admission into the two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) course offered at various colleges across Rajasthan. In addition, science stream candidates can also apply for the integrated four-year programmes—Bachelor of Arts–Bachelor of Education (BA BEd) and Bachelor of Science–Bachelor of Education (BSc BEd).
Exam pattern and structure
The Rajasthan PTET 2025 will consist of a single question paper, which is divided into four sections. These include Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test, General Awareness, and Language Proficiency. Each section will comprise 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), totalling 200 questions.
Each question carries 3 marks, bringing the full paper to a maximum of 600 marks. The total duration of the examination will be 3 hours. The paper will be available in either English or Hindi, except for the Language Proficiency section which will test specific language skills.

Fee structure for different programmes
Applicants must pay an examination fee of Rs 500 to register for the two-year BEd course. However, candidates from the science stream who are applying for both the BA BEd and BSc BEd integrated programmes will be required to pay Rs 1,000 as the application fee.
