Priscilla Chan, the wife of Meta CEO
Mark Zuckerberg, celebrated a milestone in her life in style. Chan turned 40 on Tuesday (Feb 25), for which she put her fashion foot forward.
The philanthropist and pediatrician rang in 40 in an extravagant event accompanied by her family and friends. The birthday girl dazzled in not one but three stunning outfits and doled out some major fashion goals. Her birthday lookbook was both chic and feminine fashion, a combination that rarely co-exists.
Chan kicked off the evening in a breathtaking white ball gown adorned with sparkling embellishments. She wore the exuberant ball gown for the cake-cutting ceremony. The ethereal look set the tone for the grand affair as she blew out the candles on an extravagant cake sculpted to resemble an ice bucket with a champagne bottle inside. She looked regal and absolutely dreamy in the white gown, making her every bit the star of the night.

It was followed by her chic black look. She slipped into a sleek black gown for the night, which brought a touch of old Hollywood glamour to the celebration. She added a pair of matching gloves and a contrasting shawl. The birthday girl was glowing in the classic and timeless look. In the photos, one can see a candid moment of Chan smiling with Zuckerberg, who had his arm wrapped around her waist.
Chan wrapped the evening on a fiery note, wearing a bold, body-hugging red dress, proving that she knows how to balance elegance with a playful edge. She danced and sang with
Zuckerberg and their guests.
Chan shared the pictures of the celebration on social media and said, “Turned forty surrounded by family, friends, laughter and dance. I am so so lucky to be so loved.”
Mark Zuckerberg too penned a heartfelt note for his wife on the special occasion. In a note shared on Instagram, the tech mogul wrote, “Celebrating the most important person in my life. You are a great partner, mother, and friend, and I'm grateful to share this life with you @priscillachan.”
Zuckerberg also shared a throwback video, in which he said, “That movie made it seem like FaceMash was so important to starting Facebook, it wasn’t. But without FaceMash, I never would’ve met Priscilla and Priscilla is the most important person in my life.”
Zuckerberg met Chan while they were students at Harvard University in 2003. They got married in 2012, and have three children together: daughters Maxima, August, and Aureli.

In Nov. 2023, as they celebrated the 20th anniversary of their first date, Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook. “20 years since our first date. We met at a going away party my friends threw for me in college when they thought I was about to get kicked out of school. I asked her out but told her we'd need to go out soon since I might only have a few days left. Later on, I started Facebook, we got married, and now have three wonderful girls. What a wild ride.”
"Get Low" was playing when I first met Priscilla at a college party, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary. This year I worked with @tpain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece. Sound on for the track and also available on Spotify. Love you P," Zuckerberg said in a post last year. Chan giggles as she gets the romantic surprise. At one point, Zuckerberg asks her, “Is it the most romantic thing I’ve done?” She replies, “It’s so romantic,” adding that the song “brings back a lot of fun memories” from almost two decades ago.
