Hina Khan, who is best known for her role in
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has reacted to the
India-Pakistan conflict. The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a story mentioning how people from both the countries are dying and it’s important to preach ‘peace.’ Several other popular stars have taken to their social media handles to express support for the
Indian Army.
Hina took to her social media and said, “No one wins in a war. No one. Innocents die on both sides. Praying for the frontliners. We didn’t want war before Pahalgam, we don’t want it now…Butttt, our people were killed. Our response was important, precise and non-escalatory. We don’t promote violence. And I know all of us eventually prefer peace. As much as I stand with my country to eradicate terrorism, I also wish and pray for de-escalation.Jai Hind.”
Hina previously shared a post condemning the
Pahalgam terror attack and expressed her anger towards the same. Many other TV actors like Rupali Ganguly, Avinash Mishra, Isha Malviya, and more have reacted to it as well.
Meanwhile, Aly Goni, whose family is currently in Kashmir, expressed his concern for his family and wrote, “I am out of India shooting and my family is in Jammu. I was so mind F**Cked here… thank god everyone is safe. Thanks to our IAF.” The actor, originally from Jammu, also posted on his Instagram story, saying, “#Numb Pray for Jammu, pray for our families.”
